Episode 42 | Did You Say Crochet?

Hello my dears,

This week I talk about monogamous knitting, a new crochet project, (and it's not a scrappy granny stripe blanket!) a few sewing plans and share a couple of books that I have been loving. Plus I have a question for you and it would be enormously helpful if you could answer it!

The Happiness KAL/MKAL: We have a knitalong that is currently active. You can join the chatter in the Ravelry Group, or read all the details in this blog post.

I will be attending two yarn and fiber festivals in the next couple of months:

Powhatan's Festival of Fiber - Saturday, April 28

Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival - Sunday, May 6

Don't forget! I am giving away a free sleep mask with every order placed in my shop. The next shop update will be on Saturday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. EST. I will be leaving for a holiday on the 28th, so be sure to place your orders by the 27th if you want me to ship them out before I leave!

I am crocheting a rug from scraps of fabric. It is going to be a massive, rectangular, single crochet rug. It is bright and cheery and a nice break from working on my shawl.

I FINALLY have business cards!! This is a huge deal for me and I am so relieved to get this project off of the to-do list.

I've been doing some yarn dyeing and playing with different colorways. It can be stressful not knowing how the yarn is going to turn out! But sometimes you just have to be patient and wait until the yarn dries before deciding if it has been successful or not.

I'm going to visit my family in a week or so. I will be gone for a fortnight and I expect to get lots of knitting done!

My studio is in dire need of reorganizing and de-stashing. I've started working on it but there is still much left to do.

Here is my question for you: Do you prefer to use zipper or drawstring project bags?

Thank you for watching!
