June 2018 Make for MCBN: Megan Nielsen Matilda Dress
My next post for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network is now live. I used some amazing cotton poplin to stitch up a Megan Nielsen Matilda dress. I fell in love with the origami animal print the moment I spotted it on the Minerva Crafts website. It is the perfect combination of two of my favorite things: novelty prints and animals.
This was one of those projects that was an instant matching of fabric and pattern. I've been meaning to make some more version of the Matilda dress after the fantastic success of my first two variation. But you know how it is. . . First this gets in the way. And then you have to make that project. Must get something else done before a deadline. Etc. etc.
So I am beyond thrilled that I finally managed to set aside some time to actually make this dress. Not only that, but I've also got another one cut out and at least two more fabrics all sorted to be more Matildas! I just a bit obsessed. . .
Anyway, you can read all the intimate details over on the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network site.
