More Knits Ode To Spring Shawl Pattern Review

The day has arrived! Abby of the More Knits Podcast has released her latest design: the Ode to Spring shawl. This triangular shawl is made up of alternating sections of 2-color brioche and garter stitch. It is mindless and perfect for a cozy evening snuggled up to watch your favorite movie or tv show. There is enough changes to prevent boredom, but it isn't so complicated that you must be undistracted in order to work on it. I am so glad I was able to be a test knitter!

Ombra Shawl - Red Heart An Itailan Story Yarn Review

I am part of The Flock which is a group created and run by Love Knitting. Every now and then they will send out emails offering free yarns for members to try. A couple of months ago I requested some of Red Hearts new Ombra yarn which is part of their "An Itailan Story" collection. I expected to get one, maybe two skeins of yarn. No. . . Miel Shawl - Claire Walls: A Pattern Review

Miel Shawl - Claire Walls: A Pattern Review

The Miel shawl by Claire Walls is finally live!! 🎉🎉🎉

Now I'm normally not a fan of triangular shawls, but the benefit of this particular shawl is that it is quite large.  The other triangle shawls I have knit in the past were smaller and didn't cover my arms when I wore them around my shoulders. Miel completely covers my arms and then some! It is a warm, cozy, half blanket shawl and I love it.

Billowing Shawl - The Blue Mouse: Pattern Review

I actually have three more shawls that I’ll be blogging about when the patterns are released. (If you want a peek at them, they were featured on my most recent podcast episode.)

Hello my dears,

I've finally managed to find the time to film another episode for my podcast! I have knitting, two very successful sewing projects, some stash enhancement, and the usual life updates. It has been over a month since the last episode so I definitely felt a bit rusty. But I am so glad to be back! I hope you enjoy,

A Bluejay Spindrift - Helen Stewart Spindrift Shawl Pattern Review

Hello my dears,

It has been a couple of months since I finished this shawl. Actually, it is my first finished project of 2018 considering I cast it off on January 1st. This shawl is a modified version of the Spindrift Shawl designed by the wonderful Helen Stewart. I knit it out of Emmy Couture Yarns in the Bluejay colorway; hence, why I fondly refer to it as my Bluejay Spindrift!

Episode 42 | Did You Say Crochet?

Hello my dears,

This week I talk about monogamous knitting, a new crochet project, (and it's not a scrappy granny stripe blanket!) a few sewing plans and share a couple of books that I have been loving. Plus I have a question for you and it would be enormously helpful if you could answer it!
