Deer and Doe Cardamome Dress WIP Progress 1

Deer and Doe Cardamome Dress WIP Progress 1

As you may have seen from this post, I’ve made one version of the Deer and Doe Cardamome dress so far. I cannot express how pleased I am with how it turned out and I immediately started digging through my stash to find fabric for a second version.

I purchased this lovely quilting cotton from a semi-local fabric shop and I originally was planning to make my bazillionth version of the Megan Nielsen Matilda dress from it. But that plan has been ditched and it is now well on its way to become Cardamome #2.

Pumpkin Wool and Honey Sweater - Andrea Mowry WIP Progress 1

Pumpkin Wool and Honey Sweater - Andrea Mowry WIP Progress 1

Have you seen Andrea Mowry’s Wool and Honey sweater pattern?? I fell in love with it the moment I laid eyes on it. I purchased the pattern the day it was released and that is something I NEVER do. Jennifer Lauren Handmade Felicity Dress WIP Progress #1

Jennifer Lauren Handmade Felicity Dress WIP Progress #1

I am sewing up a second Jennifer Lauren Handmade Felicity dress out of some gorgeous fabric I received in the last round of Fibre Share. Knitting W. I. P.

Knitting W. I. P.

I have been taking a wee break from my sewing and focusing quite a bit on my knitting. I did tape together a PDF pattern that I am testing this morning, but I haven't decided what fabric I shall be using for it yet. I also purchased some gorgeous fabric over the weekend which is going to be turned into some fun little projects very soon. But for now, I'm going to talk a bit about my current knitting project! I have been knitting away on a lovely cardigan pattern by Alexa and Emily of Tin Can Knits. It is a free pattern on Ravelry called "The Harvest Cardigan."

Projects in Progress

Projects in Progress

Well my dearies, I have been busy, but much of my projects are still in the development stages. I have also been working on Christmas presents, some of which I cannot show you since I don't want to risk the recipients seeing their gifts before time! I am such a procrastinator that I usually cram all of my Christmas gift making into the few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since there is such a shortage of time, what with various festivities, family get togethers and other usual holiday busyness, I always end up with half of my presents unmade. This year I am determined that that will not happen!  So, on to the stuff I can show you.
